I did it …

When camping in the desert of Namibia, we always baked fresh bread for the morning, before we went to our roof top tent around midnight. The evenings started around 4 or 5 in winter, as the sun was very low: dark around 5:30 pm ... After a sundowner and if still available after a great meal a Cognac or Whiskey the last ceremony was the bread in an iron pot when the fire was still red but not burning any more ... Great memories with my family and friends in the Namibian desert south of Angola. From Australia in QLD best wishes yours Peter | phb | @peblogger Blog

By the time we have half a dozen of them, it will be 2035, they will be 60 years old. In other words, our new submarines will be old tech, like buying an old 747. And here we are, we’re going to wait 20 odd years to get the first one and 35 to 40 years to get the lot. For what will be then very old boats.  He says the French nuclear submarines would…

It is mired in allegations of corruption, internally riven, contemptuous of public trust, abusive of taxpayer funds, and reckless in the prosecution of our country’s national security and international relations. The fact that former Liberal leaders, such as Turnbull and John Hewson, are among its strongest critics speaks volumes."
