Am following mostly the discussion about Higher Education.
75 % of young people in most 1st world countries are using AI Tools.
Staff at High Schools and Unis are trying to cope, but are mostly failing, according to their own judgement & perceptions.
High Schools and Unis are not prepared at all.
The problems are more or less ignored.
Reading Harari or following his general campaign about Aliens (Metapher) raises serious concerns, however!
Gist of my own understanding: The Gap is growing between Ignorance and smart use of AI.
It is in short not a question of using AI or not: It is a question of HOW young students are using AI.
